I had a pretty hectic Monday. My patient in the morning was an epileptic. As we were walking to the chair, he had an aura. His demeanor changed from catatonic to aggressive and started to grunt and growl. Then he tried to grab me. Luckily I got away and a doctor came to help before anyone got hurt. It was crazy to see how quickly his personality changed. He was so unaware of his surroundings that after he was escorted out of the clinic, he came back in for his exam and didn't even know what had happened! I felt bad because he has no control over the situation.
In the afternoon, my patient brought be cookies... yeaaaa :)
Then free subs for dinner... yeaaaa :)
Now it's time to buckle down and get started on studying.
